Resumen
SoWDr. Deborah Delgado will assist in implementing and overseeing field research in Peru, including contributing to study design, data collection, field worker oversight, and data analysis and synthesis. PUCP has assisted in preparing a budget justification for this subcontract. This includes substantial time working with central collaborators in the Ministry of the Environment and coordinating field work in the focal region.Indigenous leaders at the Coordinator for the Development and Defense of Indigenous Peoples in the San Martin Region (CODEPISAM) are the base organization of AIDESEP in the San Martín region, representing 128 native communities and 8 federations of three peoples, Kichwa, Awajun and Shawi. The organization represents, defends, promotes, and disseminates development with economic, social, political and cultural identity of indigenous peoples. This project will contract with CODEPISAM leadership to act as advisors and interpreters and participate in the production of learning outcomes.
