Getty Seismic Retrofitting Project

The Project is in the middle of its implementation phase, which includes the implementation of retrofittingtechniques as part of model conservation projects, including a maintenance and monitoring plan incollaboration with TechMinho (Getty consultant) for two of the four SRP building prototypes - Ica Cathedral and the Church of Kuñotambo. Similarly, the Project is entering its dissemination phase, which includes the development of the retrofitting and repair guidelines for historic earthen buildings to be adopted by Getty partner the Ministerio de Cultura del Perú (“Ministerio”).
