Relating teachers' motivating and demotivating styles, basic psychological needs, job related outcomes and emotions: combining self-report data, observation tools, and physiological measures
Resumen
The research aim is to analyze the relationship between teachers' motivating/demotivating styles (autonomy support Vs controlling, structure Vs chaos), teachers' basic psychological need satisfaction and frustration (autonomy, competence, and relatedness), and adaptive outcomes (positive emotions/calmness, work engagement, job satisfaction) and maladaptive outcomes (negative emotions/stress, burnout).
