The CERN – Latin-American School of High-Energy Physics (CLASHEP) is held every two years, and is intended mainly for Latin American physicists preparing a PhD in high-energy physics. The 2013 edition was organized jointly by the European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN), the Research Organization of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science (CIEMAT), the  National Network for High Energy Physics in Brazil (RENAFAE); and the PUCP in Peru.
