TAMBO 101 Workshop
Inicio: 20/10/2025
Fin: 21/10/2025
Together with the Harvard group of Prof. Carlos Argüelles we organized a hybrid, mostly in-person, 1.5-day introductory Workshop for new TAMBO Collaboration members. There were 33 Indico registrations, with 27 in person participants and more than 12 online via Zoom, including undergrad and master students, as well as postdocs, faculty members and researchers from the following institutions: Harvard, PUCP, UTEC, CONIDA, UNI, UNMSM, KEK, UC.
The workshop covered a theoretical introduction to the science case of TAMBO, as well as a review of the detector layout and software tools, followed by a hands-on tutorial on software. There were also updates on current software and hardware projects, a discussion on social Impact and a visit to our new HEP Laboratory, where we later built the first scintillation panel for TAMBO-4.
