Sebastian Merino among EMBC Student Paper Competition Finalists

Sebastian Merino was selected as a geographic finalist for Latinoamerica in the Student Paper Competition of the 43rd Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society. His paper, titled «Shear Wave Speed estimator using Continuous Wavelet Transform for Crawling Wave Sonoelastography,» introduces a new methodology to estimate shear wave speed and compares the results with other estimators applied in previous literature.
