General Objectives

1. To develop solutions that mitigate the impact of energy and combustion systems on health and environment.
2. To determine the parameters that characterize the transport of complex and multiphase flows in industrial applications in order to reduce their associated operating costs.
3. To develop numerical models able to characterize the mechanisms determining the formation of pollutants in turbulent reactive flows.
4. To produce knowledge to be used in decision-making processes by those people responsible for defining public and private policies.
