This disciplinary research group aims to study new methodologies for the environmental control and energy efficiency that involve the usage of mathematical models, prototypes and the development of new materials. The group seeks to develop experimentally the synthesis and characterization of adsorbent materials, catalysts, sensors, nanoparticles and composite materials making good use of the energy contributing to the environmental control in the air, water and soil. The experimental development will be complemented with the modeling of the experimental results that help to explain and improve the process.
The group seeks to contribute to improve or control the environmental issues at a social, transport and industrial level.
