Sumilla:

In Peru and the Andean countries, there is little knowledge regarding the reality of the local populations, mainly the indigenous, except for a small  specialized sector. The lack of knowledge of this reality also includes universities where in many cases, there are no training programs aimed at the knowledge of this region. To deal with this situation, this group has as main goal to develop research work, training spaces and public debates about topics related to the problems and challenges faced by the Amazonian indigenous societies.

Temas de investigación:

Política indígena. Indígenas amazónicos urbanos. Salud intercultural en la Amazonía. Educación, niñez y juventud en la Amazonía. Etnohistoria amazónica. Etnografía amazónica.
